A meaningful discovery from the essay. Something that inspires me/us. Why and how does it inspire, in what context? & if it does not inspire, why not? What is the social impact on the society today.
For Assignment II, my friends and I have joined forces to bring something even better than the previous assignment.

This time, Black Widow joins forces with Wonder Woman and Spider Man. What a combination!

First and foremost, we're going to draw out and list down the similarities & differences of each characters and how it relates in different perspectives.

Both Spider Man and Black Widow weren't "gifted" like Wonder Woman. It was more given. Spider Man wouldn't be Spider Man without the spider's bite in the lab and Black Widow wouldn't be the Black Widow without the help of the female version of the super soldier serum that was given to her. Wonder Woman on the other hand was born gifted with her abilities. Spider Man's case could be an accident and what if Black Widow did not receive the super serum? They would just be normal human.

Next, we look at individual strengths. They are all crazy strong in so many different ways. Wonder Woman with her extraordinary powers. Black Widow, her martial art skills and super strength. Spider Man with his smart and fast brain and skills to solve and create. Together, they'd be unstoppable.

- What if we related this to the real world? Women particularly. Would and could women be unstoppable if we/they worked together?

Parental issues. Wonder Woman was sculptured by her mother and she does not have a father, biologically. Spider Man's parents died and he was raised by Aunt May and Uncle Ben. Black Widow however lost her parents to a fire in Stalingrad. She never got to experience real love from her parents. All three characters can relate through this problem that they all share which is either their parents or background. It is not a surprise if this issue has left a permanent scar on all three characters and they struggle because somehow this it will affect a human no matter what.

Coming of age/the realization of the purpose of their life.
Black Widow was trained to kill and assassinate without mercy but eventually, she fought for the better. She fought for what was right and what she believed in. Next, Wonder Woman's mother, Queen Hippolyta did not want her daughter to learn how to fight as it would make

her stronger and closer to the realization that her destiny is greater than she would ever expect. Eventually, Wonder Woman understood her purpose to fight. Spider Man on the other side had to adapt to many changes in a short period of time while having no one he could relate to. He was human one day and the next thing is he was already Spider Man. All 3 characters had something in life that was either waiting for them or it was already in them.

From today's discussion with Mr Charles, we had a better understanding of what we had to approach. We have to convey a message through our video for our final assignment and what is the purpose of conveying this message. We talked about how women are now extraordinary and we are now breaking that stereotype that women are just "women". In the real world today, there are many women out there who are as "super" as Black Widow and Wonder Woman. Someone like Malala Yousafzai who got shot in the head for speaking her mind and what she believed in and actually survived. This is called a miracle. From the movie, Hacksaw Ridge as well, we could see that the willpower and compassion that Desmond T. Doss had was very inspiring. This made us understand that our approach needs to have a purpose and an intervention. For the final work, my group has an idea of creating a character that goes through hardships in life and at the end of the day, she is unbreakable no matter what she goes through. No matter how how life slaps her in the face or how broken she is inside, she will always get back up and fight whether it is mentally or emotionally. Characters that was related to our story was Jessica Jones and G.I.Jane. We will be doing our studies on these characters to understand our purpose even better.
